If i buy a Off-Peak day return and I get a reservation with my ticket, do i have to use the train the reservation is for (Like with advanced tickets: "Ticket only valid with reservation...), or can i change my mind on the train I want to get on, on the day?

Thanks in advanced :D

You can use it on any train for which it is valid.

Advance - buy in advance, use on specific booked train(s) (plus connecting trains where applicable)

Off Peak - buy any time up to the time of travel, and use on any service that it is valid for. There is often no point buying one in advance as if something crops up and you choose not to travel, there is an admin fee of £10 to get it changed or refunded.

Off Peak restrictions vary according to the ticket held. For example Plymouth - Exeter Off Peak is valid from 0833. Plymouth - Exeter Off Peak Day is valid from 0900. A Plymouth - York Off Peak is valid from 0500.

Thanks very much for that piece of information! Didn't know Plymouth - Exeter Off Peak was valid from 0833! :D
