Replacing cars compared to trains

Just a random and trivial thought but what cars would we be typically still driving today if the replacement cycle reflected that of passenger trains in the UK?

Dread to think what they’d be driving on the Isle of Wight then, if their cars lasted pro-rata to their trains... o_O
