On the Heart of Wales line, for instance, do the buses call at each station,for example, Broom, Dolau and Cynghordy and others? Having worked in the area for many years as a lorry driver, I would imagine that if they visited each and every station, the part of the journey between Craven Arms and Swansea would be extremely tortuous and never ending. Your answers will be welcome.

I have no idea regarding the detail of your query, but my most scary journey ever, was on a Rail Replacement Bus - quite a few years ago, but it's left very bad memories.

At some of the Heart of Wales locations it is necessary to wait on the Main Road at the end of a long lane. Some of these lanes, at Cynghordy for example, have no facility for a large vehicle to turn

On other lines of this nature (Far North), they have an 'express' replacement bus calling at the main stops and then get minibuses and taxis for the smaller stations if requested by passengers. People who are at tiny halts like Sugar Loaf would probably have to hope the help point would get a call in time to the replacement service co-ordinator.

Sugar Loaf is fairly easy to gain access to by road. It is directly on the A483.
