Renewing Three Year Senior Rail Card

Both myself and my wife are trying to renew our three year senior rail cards on line. However neither of us can complete the transaction as we keep getting the same message; see below.
Can anyone offer any advice regarding the current situation with the Railcard on-line requirements.

I don't know for sure, but how far in advance are you renewing? Perhaps if it's too far it won't let you have too much of an overlap as the validity might only be 3 years and a couple of days to allow for postage.

We both received emails telling us that as our current cards expire at the end of October we can now renew 1st October onwards.
I will keep trying and have sent an email to "contact us" on RailCard link, but they say it can be up to ten days before they reply.
