The Crossing Social Club adjacent Carlton station notts had origins in a railway social club but on line info suggests it may have closed. Its wasn't that long ago I went to a well organised and interesting exhibition about Colwick depot and yards there

Also The Wyvern Club adjacent Kirkby station in Notts was one I recall going for a pint in on a busy Sunday afternoon not that long ago, but seems to have recently closed and been demolished. Think this was BRSA or LMR staff association (LMRCA? is that the same thing)

Can't copy text from that kink but another report says:

Interesting that these clubs survived for so long given the locations where they were would once have been close to large sources of railway staff employment but not in recent years (event with a generous interpretation of recent I suspect).

Looks like there was a similar forum thread in 2017 so comparisons of info could be made....

Enthusiasts from the Nottingham Model Railway Society are to recreate a scale model of the Colwick Locomotive Depot as part of an event celebrating the heritage of Netherfield.
The model is to be over 4 foot long and will include key details about how the depot looked.
The ‘Loco Remembered’ event celebrating the history of Netherfield will be held at the Crossing Social Club on Station Road, Netherfield on Saturday, March 4th.

and explains that it was the council's intention to demolish itA planning application has been submitted by Ashfield District Council to demolish The Wyvern Club on Urban Road, near the town’s train station.
It was built by British Rail in 1961 for railway workers but was bought by the council last year.

BRSA Clubs
Do any of these still exist albeit in renamed form? I'm from an old school railway family background and these were quite a good social facility for staff and used to visit them as a kid, there used to be one under Picadilly station in Mcr, various depots had them as well nationwide.
