The EMT HST's haven't been listed as yet. And as the time is nearly here reporting sets would be useful.

Why would it be useful? A bit like the Pacer thread where people report seeing things that will be seen hundreds of times again this year?

What time is nearly here? There’s no new stock ordered yet...
Yes very true. But with the added reduced mobility obligations plus the fact that IC70 seats are very wide mean the isle is not wide enough for the PRM regulations that meet for 2020 so what will happen?

Derogation, would be political suicide to withdraw the EMT HSTs without a replacement.
Anyway, we'll find out what's happening to the HSTs when the next franchise is finally awarded.

Is that they end of this year?
The at the moment the end of EMT is 17th August so it is possible that something will be announced with the next few months (April/May time).

Loosing the HST's with no replacement would mean there would be almost 30% reduction in the mainline fleet for EMT (counting sets not number of coaches).

More than that if you count seating capacity!

The alternative if no one else has said is to take the hellfire current seats and put in more less bum friendly seats instead :s

The EMT sets aren't going anywhere for the foreseeable future, and there are currently no plans to refurb them either.

Unfortunately we can't have a thread reporting each (sub)fleet there is as the forum would be flooded.

As of when their replacements are announced and their days numbered, we may consider a dedicated thread for their final days/weeks to allow those wishing to catch them one final time a chance to sight/scratch them from their books and/or for a last ride for nostalgia's sake.
