When will VOSA remove registered bus services for bus companies which no longer exist? Where I live there are Henderson Bus services and Mackenzie bus No. 1 & 2 showing. Henderson went bankrupt whilst Mackenzie Buses' license was revoked.

And there probably others where you live.

Henderson bus services 209 & 211 are still registered but the 209 operated by Craig’s of Cumbernauld whilst the 211 is operated by JMB - both subsidised.
Whilst the Mackenzie bus No. 1 & 2 bus service, no. 107/109 are still registered but are no longer in service.

When you write to DVSA and point it out, which may prompt someone to look at it?

Not sure that they always do - when they revoke a licence there is a standard line saying -"Registered Bus Services running under this licence have also been revoked with immediate effect" Probably to save them having to go in on each service and cancel each one!

It's a bit of admin that, in reality, has little effect as noboby refers to the registrations (having the services advertised on bus stops would affect people more). It's similar to people refering to VOSA 7 years after it closed (as I often do), it's annoying to remember the change and everybody knows what you mean.
