RegioJet has announced that it will be launching a number of new routes across Poland, both domestic and international, following their open access applications being approved earlier this year and last year. Services are due to start in the autumn between Warsaw and Kraków on a trial basis on a very indirect route via Zawiercie while they recruit up to 300 staff. A full service is planned for April 2026.
The routes expected to be operated from December is as follows:

In the past PKP Intercity has been very hostile towards domestic competition so it'll be interesting to see how they react to this.

RegioJet reveals it's cards. From Warsaw not only to Kraków
The largest Czech private bus and train company has shed some light on it's planned expansion on the Polish market. After the recent appearance of the first service from Warsaw to Kraków on Portal Pasazera the company is now anticipating adding services not only on this route, but also from Warsaw to the Tri-city area and Poznań as well as Prague and Vienna via Katowice.

With time there should be more [routes] - from December, RegioJet expects to provide half of it's intended network, whose shape we still do not know, and is expected to be developed into 2026. RegioJet trains in Poland are expected to provide the same service as the commercial services of the carrier in Czechia - they'll be loco-hauled carriages with four classes, Low Cost, Standard, Relax and Business. The carrier revealed on it's website that this year additional routes will appear on their network in Poland:
RegioJet admits that it's initial service offering, being operated from September to December, will be more of a test service. It also mentions recruitment of staff, which in the short term it will need up to 300. The mentioned implementation of "full service" in 2026 is expected to occur even by 1st April, which appears to be a very ambitious target. Until December tickets for RegioJet trains will only be available via their website and app, however by the end of the year ticket desks are expected to open in Warsaw, Kraków and Poznań. The company states that it's presence in Poland will represent a positive impact on the development of the rail market in Poland, the job market and passenger comfort.
