I've got tickets booked via Raileasy (Online) - Chester to Crewe Return then Crewe to London Return leaving on Thursday 3rd November and returning on Sat 5th November. Purchased with a Two Together Railcard.I have printed Paper Tickets obtained from a TVM locally for these journeys. Sods Law dictates these are now strike days and services extremely unlikely to run (ATW Chester to Crewe Return and West Midlands Trains Crewe to London Super Off Peak Return). So we have to find alternative transport (probably car).

What is the process for refunds for these Tickets - I've been on the Raileasy Website and they make the whole process so complicated. I just seem to be going round in circles with conflicting and ambiguous advice about claiming before/after the journey, ripping paper tickets in half, photographing them etc etc. There must surely be an easier way of obtaining refunds as I've got emails of all the Tickets from Raileasy?

Edit - just seen the other thread saying Strike now moved from Thursday 3rd November - however that still leaves the tickets pretty unusable as we can't come back on the return portion as Strike is still on for Saturday 5th November. So can they still be cancelled without a fee? - I'd be very unhappy at being charged a fee under the circumstances.

Hi there, we can refund them no problem. If you email customer.support@raileasy.co.uk with your booking reference and pictures of the tickets in tact, then another picture of them cut in half.
