On 11th September I bought some tickets on thetrainline.com for Norwich to London. These never turned and after a lot of hassle they said they would refund me.
I then bought more tickets for a future journey decided to pick these up from the ticket machine. I now have these.
My refund wasn't showing as being processed in my account on trainline so I rung them again and the lady said I would be refunded today.
Today I have received a refund and an email about the refund but they have refunded the wrong tickets.
I have spoken to trainline who said my tickets are still valid but it just sounds really odd and I am now concerned my tickets will be swallowed by the machines either in Norwich at the beginning of one of the journeys or in one of the machines in London.
The person at trainline seemed to struggle to understand what I was trying to say and I struggled to understand them.
Does anyone know how the ticket barriers work? Can my tickets be cancelled? Will they be likely to get swallowed by a machine?
