Refund of RTVs

Hi
I ve got £200 worth of RTVs (from LM/VT)I've heard that I can load them on an oyster card,and than make a refund,is it true?

It is possible to do this and not get caught (especially if you don't try and refund the whole 200 in one go, and not in the same transaction as you load them), but I don't think it is supposed to be allowed. You also need proof of ID/address to refund from an Oyster card

You can only have a maximum of £90 held as Pay As You Go credit on a single Oyster card, so you would have to split it across a minimum of 3 transactions anyway.

At a LU station, they're entered as type "NR Travel Voucher" which has it's own entry in a LU TIS

If you have more than £30 in RTVs from LM alone, send them to LM and they'll send you a cheque in return.
