Refund in vouchers from east coast

Why don't you sell the vouchers? You may not get £180 for them but anything would be better than nothing. You could try auctioning them on here!

Why not ask GC to swap the vouchers for a cheque, and ask them for vouchers for the original ticket you should have been able to use?

If GC is at fault, let them deal with it. Certainly you wouldn't get another £180 back (unless GC opted to do so simply for convenience to itself) but you're having to waste a lot of time to get this sorted.

You can use paper vouchers to book advance tickets at a station if you want, although I recommend not going up to the desk during peak because you'll wind up the other passengers :)

Yeah, but as an escape member I get 20% off EC advance tickets booked online, so add to the hassle of going to the slow moving 'tickets in advance' queue at the station I'd also have to pay more for the privilege.

EDIT: By escape I mean East Coast Rewards :)
