Hi all, I booked an advance ticket from Keith to Perth travelling this last Monday.
Following storm Babet, services were cancelled between Elgin and Aberdeen and Aberdeen and Dundee.
On Sunday just gone the latest information was do not travel unless absolutely necessary! So I took steps to cancel the journey!
I was told that there was no problem with the journey at 1159 Monday and it was running - this was 5 hours before ScotRail issued any updates!
The operator said I wasn’t entitled to a fee free refund though the WhatsApp message I received said I could!
Any ideas if - as I made the decision when services were cancelled- I’m entitled to a refund at all!
Cheers in hope
Caleb
