I have an odd issue on my television. On 4+1 and no other channel the screen shows a red solarisation effect. I have tried searching online but all I can find is where this affects all channels.
Anyone any ideas?

Posting a photo of the problem might help?

As the '+1' channels (assuming this is Freeview?) are generally transmitted at quite low data rates and/or resolutions it might just be a digital compression artefact.

Yes it is freeview. I guess digital compression might be a cause.

The thing that puzzles me is only having an issue on channel 4+1 but no other.

It is not a big issue just one of those what's going on here moments.
