If I've counted right TS have 8x153 so on law of averages it should be on the Marston Vale 1 week in 8 but obviously the law of averages doesn't always work.

That is what I've been working on, however it was last down in June last year, however it broke down on the Wednesday being replaced by 375 for the rest of the week.

April 11th saw 43124 & 43190 getting red pen action for their MTU engines (already had with Valentas). Later on 387140+387144 also succumbed to the red pen followed by 387210 and a retractioned 5915.

This morning, April 13th, brand new 700044 became the latest victim of the 2017 red pen so that's 86 in total for 2017 thus far (target = 275)

As hinted at above, just had almost 2 weeks in Australia. The following locos/power cars were had:

Absolutely fabulous trip, getting all but two XPT power cars and a really good coverage of V-line locos (though it is a massive help getting V-line gen every day!). Highlight of the trip, though, was doing the tour of the MCG - a "bucket list" item done.

Now also back from down under. I failed to get XPT 2014 but did have 2002. Also missed V-Line N471, but picked up N457 - so guess we're about equal. Great trip- thanks for your company 43096; and the V-Line locos are superb-particularly the P class which entered service with me in 1956!

Oh- 216 power cars as I had both prototypes!!

Thanks Kite! The priority now needs to be do the same with the Drain, then the Bakerloo. Whilst also making progress with the rest of LU and London in general of course! Oh and of course the DLR needs to be prioritised as it is so close to completion.
