Rebekah Brooks - crossing keeper - is this serious

This page has a picture captioned as Rebekah Wade (as she then was) on work experience as a crossing keeper at Stewartby in 1986.

I can't really believe this is true because (according to Wikipedia at least) she was brought up in Warrington and decided to be a journalist at age 14. Also the face on the picture doesn't look quite right somehow.

Can anyone shed any light?
