I was booked onto this train from Newt Abbot at 09:34

Just out of idle curiosoty anyone know what failed? I can tell you the follwing train 1 hour later was no fun all the way to Paddington, including signalling probeems at Swindon, but somehow I got a seat :o

Problem with AWS/TPWS maybe? Might have been a problem with the APT system, but I would imagine it wouldn't be picked up until it joined the GWML, unless it can be picked up beforehand, but I doubt that. Would be interesting to know if that is possible.
