I noticed that GBRF states the number of the loco but no little pictures however I came across one with a little picture of a 66, it was pictured with a 73 and some sleeper stock, does anyone know if there’s plans to add little pictures to all of the GBRF allocations? I do find them rather cool:D
Illustrations are only provided (as part of the Know Your Train feature) for GBRf Class 66, 73, and 92 locomotives when working Caledonian Sleeper services. Since KYT is only provided for passenger services and no other types of locomotive work CS services with any regularity, the answer to your question is almost certainly no.

@Tom could you let me know what has happened to the TfW allocations and formations? Was very handy but seems to have disappeared last couple of weeks, only the Avanti services still show at TfW stations in North Wales I am looking at.

Now showing. All showing for me throughout until this morning

I was wondering whether Merseyrail will ever join Realtime trains? It would be really good it they do. I love the 507 and 508 units and the 777 units do not look to bad either.

Hi, I think they'll all jump on the bandwagon at some point: it'll just take a while.

Somebody somewhere has to tap the info in for it to appear anywhere. If this isn't done on the feed RTT uses, you can't expect RTT to show the numbers.

Sometimes you will see a blank for much of the day which happens if a unit has been replaced for some reason.

Never has a site been more useful for me, especially at WAT or KGX when the hoards are waiting for platform info.

Be nice if the current TOCs worked first. Half of the services have allocations missing most days.
Really? Looking at today... there are, by my reckoning, 8079 passenger services that are operated by KYT operators ... and 7955 currently have valid allocations. A further 58 had allocations but have been removed for various reasons. Around 25 of those services I wouldn't yet expect to see any allocation data in for either yet for various reasons.

anyone know the next toc to join?
Yes I do, couple of weeks off though.

I’m not criticising in the slightest, only I check allocations for Cardiff Ctrl at 7am most days and it’s only the XC ones visible. :)

Criticism worded like that felt very, very harsh. Looking forward to the next TOC to become available.
Agreed, the amount of effort that Tom has put into a website that is freely available is amazing. Overhyped criticism is very unfair.

What's a student doing up at 7am?? (or are you only just going to bed :) )

Units starting at Canton seem to be very late showing in Genius as well, I bet ones that started at Carmarthen/Crewe/Rhymney etc will show well before.
Its not an RTT issue that, the information has to be in place to begin with for it to show on there.

Correct. To reiterate, RTT does not decide or input the information, it (and other similar sites) is just a good way of processing and presenting information supplied from elsewhere.

Tom would you be able check the Moses Gate timing point for Up services; the time stamp showing as later than Farnworth appears on most if not all services but here's a random example from today
Thanks

This is the age old problem of more than one station within a signal section. Its on the list, to be looked at at some point.

Anyone know why this happens on RTT? Not complaining as it doesn't affect anything but just wondering
(Image shows a service on RTT with tracking showing "approaching" & "at platform" in multiple locations)

Why? I don't know. However, it's clear that it's something to do with not knowing where the train is! That big string of 'no report' will be something to do with it.

This is a regular problem with trains that go through the same station twice. You will see that this train calls at Virginia Water twice.

...and obviously "lost" the report at eg Wallers Ash on the outward, hence all the garbage for the return journey.
