What is the problem with access? Is the platform closed permanently?

I see Norton Bridge is served this year even though the station is officially closed.

Neighbouring stations Wedgwood and Barlaston are served of course, being neither open or closed.

I'm guilty there as I usually contribute to the thread each year! I like seeing the impossible route and any odd or interesting entries.

Edit: It looks like Naughty Kid is getting coal again this year.

In order to cover the 9824 miles of train track in the UK in the 4 minutes given, the train will have to travel at an average speed of 147,360 mph. Santa's got it figured out before HS2, it seems.
Edit: there are varying figures for the values of track miles, so actual speed may vary.

Really like the train allocation graphics now they're viewable. Will be watching later to see if it leaves on time.

It appears that Heathrow departure board is rivalling RTT this year. Sadly I can't find a link.

Looks like it is also reported at Gomshall, Shalford, Guildford, Clandon, Effingham Junction and Ash(several with platform changes).

Could a signaller cause timings to show up if they wrote 1X01 into a block or does it not work like that (I know the timings will all show up, and would probably be overwritten anyway, but I'm still wondering)
