I've seen Wagon TOPS reports on Se-Gen, does anyone know how to read these?
Here are a few examples of these:
112063 OCA 88A E 88729 88729 R E 11 09 05 03 03 99
503506 MLA 88A 0 88729 88730 MRMSRL L 16 19 04 19 04 00

Appears to be from an "X3" report (list of wagons at a particular location). From left to right:

112063 - wagon number
OCA - wagon type (carkind)
88A - TOPS "tag" (obsolete codes for wagonload traffic - 88A is Hoo Junction). See here for comprehensive info on tagging, although you may begin to wish you'd never asked:
https://www.railforums.co.uk/thread...-tops-–-general-principles-of-tagging.274701/
E = Wagon status (in this case red carded). 0 (zero) for 503506 means normal status, 7 would mean in position for loading or unloading.
88729 = current location Stanox (88729 = Hoo Junction Down Yard). See Stanox codes listed alphabetically here: http://www.railwaycodes.org.uk/crs/crs0.shtm
88729 = current destination (may not be accurate or make sense for empties and engineers wagons)
R = cripple status - in this case red carded (defective, not to be moved). G would be green carded (defective but OK to move).
E = Empty (L is loaded)
11 09 05 = Time into status (Hour / Day / Month). In this case it was red carded on 9th May (probably 2024) but looks like it's been at Hoo since it arrived on a 6Y83 engineer's train on 13/05/23.
03 03 = Day / Month it arrived at this location. Slightly misleading in this case, as the wagon appears to have been shunted from the up yard (88730) to the down yard (88729) on 03/03/24 but was already at Hoo.
99 = Days at this location (can only show a maximum of 99 days). 00 days (seen on 503506 info) normally means the wagon arrived at the location today.

The data for 503506 has an extra code MRMSRL which is a "commodity code" for Miscellaneous / Railway Materials / Scrap Rail. (This code is blank for 112063 because its an empty wagon).
Other common commodity codes for engineers trains are MRMSRB (standard railway ballast), MRMCSP (new concrete sleepers), MRMCSU (used concrete sleepers off site), MRMCWR (continuous welded rail), MRMFTN (new track panels), MRMFTR (recovered track panels), MRMSAC (switches and crossings).

Ta for that Adrian. Lovely info on how to read these kinds of wagon lists, just a few questions though.
Are there any other types of wagon lists? (Maybe a list of each type of wagon report?)
Any other types of wagon status and cripple status?
And is there a possible list of commodity codes?
Either way, an interesting bit of information on reading wagon reports.
