on trainsplit if you do Reading to Waterloo via Windsor & Eton Riverside it offers this route for the via Staines fare, and i remember checking NRE too

Although good luck getting past the contractor (I think) barrier staff at Windsor Riverside as chances are that ticket won't open them. Some of those contractors have very basic training in terms of tickets.

I did this route on this ticket roughly a year ago with no issues - can't remember whether either the ticket did work at the barriers, or whether the barriers were open when i came to them
