When the escalators aren't working at Reading, or have been stopped, if I remember rightly they display a 'No Entry' sign on the digital display.
If I'm correct, I wonder if passengers could have their claim for injury rejected on the basis they ignored a warning sign?
It's not very large though, nor does it carry any text - merely a rather pixelated version of a No Entry sign. I'm not sure that'd hold much sway?
