What happened to 1O08 0725 Manchester Piccadilly to Basingstoke yesterday?
RealTimeTrains has it running on time until Reading Main Line West, then taking nearly an hour to arrive in platform 8.
After another hour's delay, it set off towards Basingstoke, where it was cancelled, due to a problem with the traction equipment (MC).
Its next working, 1M50 1350 Basingstoke to Manchester Piccadilly, made it through to Manchester, arriving only 3 minutes late.
And why were the GW Reading to Basingstoke shuttles cancelled while 1O08 was apparently at Reading?
Was the faulty traction equipment actually on 4O14 0641 Basford Hall Yard - Southampton M.C.T.?
