RE: Work going on at Cricklewood Sidings

Hi All,

I've been tripping in to London again this week for work and just wondered if anyone knows what they're doing at Cricklewood ?

There's an awful lot of diggers there and track pilled up so are the stripping out the sidings or just replacing the rails ?

The plan is also to put units there when released by cascaded (as the TSGN ITT requires to keep units on hand initially).

New sidings for new Thameslink trains.

Just out of interest it’s hard to see how they could fit in additional sidings so I'm assuming that the current permanent way is not really fit for use? Given how long a go it is since Cricklewood closed that is understandable, although obviously I acknowledge that some of the sidings have been use for stabling EMT sets.
