Hi All,

Wonder if you can help, I am due to travel on the 5th April from St Austell (SAU) to Wigan North Western (WGN) and I have purchased the tickets as splits consisting of advance and open tickets!

Looking at RTT I can get as far as Bristol, then there are no XC trains from Bristol to Birmingham.

There is an option to get to Wigan from SAU changing at Newport (NWP) and Crewe (CRE)... Would I be allowed to use TFW from NWP to CRE on the tickets that I hold?

I have an Off-Peak Single Bristol to Cheltenham, then an Off-Peak Return from Cheltenham to Birmingham and then Advance from Birmingham to Wigan.

Hopefully someone can give me some guidance.

Thanks in advance

Hello, just to check you do indeed mean the 4th of April? CrossCountry is operating a normal service between Bristol and Birmingham on the 4th (2tph), so perhaps you are travelling on a different day, or looked up the wrong day?

If you did mean Friday 5th, CrossCountry has removed all services from journey planners, pending a strike timetable, however given previous strikes it's highly likely no services will run.
