During the past 2 year's we have been informed not to Re-energize the trains by Depot when there is a Blockade or Possession of the line after trains have been shut down completely by drivers. Just recently we have had a New Regional/Area Manager that has no clue regarding the railway. We have tried explaining the situation to them but they our having none of it saying the Drivers have to follow lead of the Train Presentation Regional Manager ( It baffled Us ), As we know as cleaners Train Presentation don't Control the drivers. We get informed By the Driver they have had strict instructions to power off the trains when they birth by Control even the Station staff inform the Guards to inform the Driver to power down by Control.
The question is when Re-energizing the train when the track is turned off does it Send electric through the track when it fires back up and does it effect the Preparation of the train when the driver comes in to prep the trains when everything has been turned off.
