Ravenglass and Eskdale railway

Hi this my first time on this forum posting
I will probably be planning a visit to the railway sometime this year and was just wondering if there was a way of knowing which locomotives are running on a particular day if anyone could help it would be very much appreciated

From my experience they always do 1 steam engine every 2 hours the rest is the diesel. Mind its been a few year since I went on.

Its Depends on How many Serviceable Steam Engines they have,
I think they only have one at the moment Which is Northern Rock,
Mite is having Minor work done should be back by March
Irt has its boiler sent away for work
Esk in mid way through a 10 year Major overhaul not expected back till 2014
The 10:30 and 11:30 Departure should always be a Steam Service. but with only on steam Loco the 11:30 turn will probably be done by Doris (Lady Wakefield) until Mite has been run in and back in service.
