I used to use the NRE website to find out prices/routeing of various TOC Rangers/Rovers. The detailed info on the NRE website, such as route maps and pricing has disappeared.

I have checked a few TOC websites (FGW/EMT etc) and find that EMT seem to have no info at all, but FGW has limited info (Pricing but no maps.) Where can one find this information now?

Wasn't quite sure whether this belonged under General Discussion or Fares/Routeing. As you can see, General Discussion (I knew him well!) won the day.

Click on 'validity' to see the maps. Not all the information is there, but there may be some.

Click on the name of the product then the validity tab and there should be a map.

There is a site - railrover.org - which gives details and prices. I am not certain about maps.

Have you checked these TOC websites:

Northern Rail have quite a good section on their website dedicated to all Rail Rovers and Rangers in the North.
And London Midland have a few maps for the Heart of England Rover and the West Midlands Day Ranger at the bottom of the page I've linked to.

It's not that it hasn't been filled out - its that the NRE website has been very broken for 2 weeks now. They are showing little sign of actually fixing it.

No, I don't. The original NRE Website contained the rover/ranger mapping, this one doesn't (unless it is well hidden!!)

Ah yes, I see now. Does seem NRE is really quite broken at the moment!

Hi,

FYI,

'Today's Railways' Magazine (May 2013 issue 137) has a rover ticket guide GB & IRELAND, very good booklet to have, Magazine cost £4.25. (sealed in plastic this month)

Also in mag- class 14 story, Nottingham station closure this summer, future of welsh railways and IEP tains and all the other general magazine updates.

Cheers
