On Saturday I'm in Cornwall using the Ride Cornwall Ranger and I have an advanced train booked from Plymouth to Birmingham New Street (Splitting the ticket at Bristol Temple Meads) but I during the day ranger I will be doing the Par to Newquay branch and the return service from Newquay gives me a 5 minute connection at Par. My question is, if I miss the Plymouth train that will cause me to miss the Birmingham train, would I be able to catch the next one because all the connections are valid or will I have to purchase a new ticket as I'm splitting/changing from a Day Ranger to Advanced ticket?
Is it common for the 13:09 NQY to PAR to be delayed, if so how long on average?

If all connections are official then I would expect you to be allowed on the next service.
