You gotta use the back roads see. Actually it is a bit awkward around there, we quite often go to Broadsands for a swim but it's best to go in the evening when everyone's going the other way.

I've spent most of the weekend gardening. It's been nice weather and I'm quite pleased with the results.
In your garden though, do you find that the mower bottoms out going over the various shallow graves, thus leaving unsatisfactory bald patches and triggering psychopathic outbursts, resulting in the whole vicious (ha vicious ;)) cycle carrying on?

Or not?

a) There are no shallow graves in my garden, they are all the regulation depth.
b) I do not have psychopathic outbursts and anyone who says I do is likely to end up fertilising my foxgloves (a source of useful chemical compounds).
c) There is no c).
d) My vicious cycle has a two flat tyres, the chain's come off and the handlebars are twisted.

I do use Bascombe Road sometimes but trying to get out onto Dartmouth Road can be rather trying. I've had a couple of trips down to the council recycling plant which have ended up with the garden waste actually re-seeding and putting on a growth spurt

Your swims could be a bit expensive this year with the scumbags at Torbay Council doubling car park charges, the good news is that most businesses in Torbay will shut down soon and parking charges won't be a problem then

We'll just have to swim there from somewhere rundown and cheap.
Newton Abbot?

I was only asking.
Of course this could all be a cry for help all these clues and things. It's almost like you want to be caught so that the police can tell you how clever you've been.

I don't think the police will be bothered unless I take it on the public highway with two flat tyres, loose chain and twisted handlebars .

Yeah.

It was a joke, in case it's a foreign language to you.

For the record, I really don't appreciate the tone of this post, there's no need to bring personal issues into this.

Cut finger update

It was like a paper cut and it opened up again today so I've super glued it.

I didn't even understand his post.

I feel like we're still short of details - where was the cut? On the tip of the finger?

I'm currently nursing a shallow cut just below the nail on my little finger, and a graze from a serated vegetable peeler on the lower knuckle of my index finger - all on my left hand. I'm also likely to be going into a workshop session later this week and will almost certainly gain at least one injury to my hands as a result.

Near the tip on outer side of little finger right hand. Approximately 6mm long, trivial and painless, blood loss <0.1cc.

The surgeon says he can save the finger but the rest of my body will have to be amputated.

The ones I can't stand are when I get cracks around the tips of my fingers from working outside in the cold in winter. It's only when you have them that you realise how often you actually knock your fingers on things.

I found a box full of old cassette tapes in the loft, most of them were music tapes for the car or Radio 4 comedies however there were some I couldn't identify so I played them. Most were blank but one is 2 x 30 minutes of ... well, I don't know what. It's just a cacophony at an extremely high recording level (off the scale of the meters), I wondered if it had been subject to a strong magnetic field but none of the other tapes in the same box were affected. The worst thing is it reminded me of those "Siberian Hell Sounds". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Well_to_Hell_hoax I wonder if there's a gateway to Hell in my loft, it would explain a lot of things such as the noises I hear up there at night.

You should change your number to a name. Something like 'Lawnmower Heights'.

Funny you should say that, this house is our maiden coastal property and was named 'Fishermens Friend' when we bought it, due to the strange people hanging around outside after six bells on the first watch we quickly put a number up instead

Is it the tape you made of your first victims?
