I like cake.

So do I! :) Victoria Sponge, hands down!

Whenever I pick up a screwdriver or similar tool (not a chisel) I always have the urge to toss it in the air so it does a somersault before I (hopefully) catch it. Is it just me or does anyone else do that?

I do that with stuff out of my pencil case!

Does anyone else has the urge to touch anything you see on the isle (like a magazine, a TV or a video game)? I'm such a weird kid!

Do you mean the Isle of Wight or the Isle of Man? I wouldn't touch anything on either of them, you don't know where they've been.

Aw sorry! :(

They just look so attractive.

They've been surrounded by water for a really long time, so gid knows what's touched them... ;)

Noticed spelling mistake! Sorry!
You put your hands in cake?
Nope, I put my hands on the cake! Big difference! :D

Does that include humans?
Obviously... not!

Well you did say you like cake hands down.
Given that you've already confessed to being a weird child I wouldn't have thought that anything was off limits. If you're fingering cake what / who else are you fingering?

Aw come on. :(

I didn't really say I finger cake. I said 'hands down', meaning 'no debate'. I love Victoria Sponge with a passion, so I thought saying 'hands down' will display that.*

I was just joking about the 'weird' bit. I'm not that weird on the forums, am I. :|

*I was gonna make a great reply instead of this, but decided that maybe it was too much for this forum. ;)

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
I have heard "Lumpy Bumpy" being described as a cake when we last visited Hebden Bridge and I am sure that this particular delicacy contains far more calories per average-sized portion than any other cake I have eaten.

In my somewhat very much younger days, a "Rum Baba" seemed to be popular.

Video clips from digital sources are still referred to as "footage". How many megabytes are there in a foot (or 304.8mm if you prefer it)?

I don't know but I suppose they're not videos either these days are they? Life's very confusing sometimes.

This must be Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays.

Today I am mainly fighting circadian rhythm. 7 night shifts in a row has broken my body clock, much like DaleCooper I am in a special day. I shall call it Sunmotuswethufrisatday.

I suggest you have a nice lie down TheEdge. Although not while you're driving a train.

The "My fur suit and sou'west hat" anagram rears its ugly head once again. I thought we'd seen the last of that.

I drove through Marseille once. Bit rough in places.

Like me then, which reminds me of a joke:

Man goes into Boots, says to a sales assistant "I'd like some talcum powder"
Assistant: "Certainly sir, walk this way"
Man: "if I could walk that way I wouldn't need talcum powder"
