Do you get annoyed when people spit gum on to the street? Or maybe when the neighbour's dog wakes you up by barking too loud? Or is life in general just a big pain in the metaphorical you-know-what?

Shall I start, so you can see what I mean?

Why do some people insist on putting a full stop at the end of titles? Such things are not necessary and even frowned upon!

A second one is those who insist on using American terms in general British usage. What the heck is a sidewalk? Or a garbage truck? Or a diaper? OR A TRAIN STATION?

The list could go on.

Anyone else like to offer any other amusing examples?

I go absolutely mad with people in tiny little hatchbacks who take five years to realize the traffic lights are green and it's time to accelerate.

Though now you mentioned it, I really do wonder about how much time people have on their hands when I see these 'how do I pronounce the word (word goes here)' and 'should this sentence have a full stop or exclamation mark' threads.

What annoys me in forum titles is the number of threads that are titled "Some advice please" or "South West Trains" or "Photos 14/10/11" similar ambiguous things... if I were a mod I'd probably rename so many threads it'd be considered totalitarianism.

You mean the Rudolph wannabe? With the bouncing black bombs being "thrown"? Utterly ridiculous for a first boss! Mind you, most of the bosses on Sonic 2 on MS/GG were nigh-on impossible, certainly by Sonic Team standards. Robotnik at the end was quite easy in comparison!

Sonic 1 was so mch easier...

A cheat for anyone who plays/played this game (sorry if it spoils anything!): When Tails's eyes blink, look carefully. They will alternately blink twice. If you press 1, 2 and Down-Left just as his eyes close the second time when he blinks twice, it brings up a level select! It is quite difficult to time though.

I also hate over-generalisations. How can you hate every French person? They are all individuals, not too different to those people in the UK or NZ.

"People from town X are all chavs/scum", "X is a total craphole", I hate that sort of thinking! It's very close-minded. I hate myself doing it too!

That is one of the biggest for me.

I find Train Station perfectly fine to use, but then i will use both that and Railway Station.

People Who Write Like This All The Time, mostly happens on failbook which im slowly going away from gladly.

Not really little annoyance but big, being branded a pirate by these big AAA games companies (Looking at you Ubisoft) since i use the PC to play games instead of the closed system Xbox & PS3.

Another one is the generalisation that all young people hang around on street corners and cause trouble, as well as going out and getting bladdered all the time.

A lack of basic manners also gets to me. How hard is it to say please or thankyou?

People who come to the booking office window and ask "what time is the next train to Leeds [or wherever]?". Then, when you tell them, reply "is there not one before that?" Err... if there was, I'd have told you, you numbskull!

Or people who say "I want the CHEAPEST" ticket please - why would you sell them anything than the cheapest [but still most appropriate] ticket for their journey?!
