This is mainly idle curiosity as I wasn’t affected enough for delay repay
There were some issues on the Victoria line this morning. I was due to get the 10.53 from Ramsgate to Margate The inbound only arrived at 10.49. By the time they’d attached another four carriages to it it was late
There was an HS1 to Margate due at 10.59 but station staff assured us we would be first out. And we sat there
A few minutes later the 10.59 appeared to go straight through without stopping. I was at the front of the train so can’t be entirely sure
It wasn’t a big problem for me at all. I’m not complaining but if the HS1 went straight through I was wondering what happened to those passengers who wished to get off at Ramsgate
Of course it might have stopped and this is a complete waste of a post!
