Hi, does anyone know why railworks isn't showing track, roads and platforms and just showing a grey/white floor?

Sounds like a PC problem to me. What system are you running (and give me it's specification to). You can test your PC for compatibility by clicking this link and running the software.

The thing is it has worked fine since i got it. It's just popped up the other day.

I've tryed on two routes and the same on both. Also Oxford-Paddington isn't there anymore and the most rolling stock is gone, only things left are german stock and my downloaded stuff off steam.

That sounds like you have unticked the Kuju>RailSimulator developer tab.
On both the route and scenario editors, on the middle left menu there is a little blue box with an orange triangle in it. Click that and the right hand flyout appears. In the right hand flyout, scroll down to Kuju and see if the RailSimulator box is ticked.

You might want to consider deleting some of your dissused data/folders.

I have already deleted old files and tidied my computer up with CCleaner. And the box was already ticked. I can drive a train but there is no ground of track.
Darandio is the expert round here. Did you try his advice?

Yes i did. I might reinstall the game, will my steam downloads still be there if i do reinstall?
I don't know. I imagine you'd be OK, but as I said, Darandio is the expert. I'd wait around for him to come back first. As I've done many times, the likely hood is you've just accidentally pressed something.

Your next best bet is probably to verify the integrity of game cache. This will search your entire install of Railworks and fix any errors it finds. If you don't know how..........
Opn up the Steam client, go to library and then games and right click on Railworks in the list. Select properties, go to the tab that says Local Files and then click Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Depending on how much you have installed, it may take a while.

I verified The integrity of the game cache and it's still the same! What should I do?
Punch the monitor, rip out the wires, take the computer to the top of a fifty storey building, and tell him if he doesn't start behaving himself.....

I feel like doing that at the moment!

I know it's tempting, but if you take my advice you won't have any computer left at all!
There's only one thing I can think of. It's not a very attractive option, but you could try and post this on Yahoo Answers.
Or go to somewhere like www.uktrainsim.com , visit the forums and post as much information as possible. Very rarely someone there cannot find a fix.

I just went into tools & documents and clicked clear the blueprint cache. Simples! Didn't use the internet to find the answer!
