Well, I'll be the first to admit that this is a bit over the top. It started out as a simple project to display my East Midlands Trains repaint of the built-in HST. Judge for yourselves and let me know what you think.

cool, on the topic of what hasnt been done yet for a hst how about the "Virgin Challenger 255" set :), have no idea on formations or annything like that I think it was going to be 5-6 cars

Whilst it hasn't been done, I'm not to keen on it as it was only ever hypothetical, and never actually happened. I'm happy to do short formations with the Virgin set I have. I think it was 5 carriages, but don't quote me.

Yes they were 5 coaches, one FO, one Buffet (with standard class seats), 2 TSOs and 1 TGS.
