Railworks 2: Doesn't work

Purchased railworks 2 for £11 from amazon and it came today After I installed steam, created account, installed the game etc. I clicked play. After more waiting it started up. Chose the recommended starter scenario...click go and it will then display 7-8 pictures on a slideshow then freezes and crashes. Tried other scenarios. Turned it on+off again. In a mood!

Ummm...me thinks Windows 7?

Go to the Start menu, then right click on 'Computer', then click on Properties and get some info from there

That's what I would have thought. I think you will need to be updated if you have not yet done so.

Nonetheless, I frequently experience short freezes while loading routes, but 9 times out of 10 I can wait them out and play the game as normal.

Thanks for the advice, but in the end it was a faulty disc from the seller of Amazon and they re-sent me one for free and that one works
