I'm sure this may have been covered before somewhere, but I couldn't find anything.

I spotted this Campaign for Real Ale howler on the outside of the Station House pub next to Whitland station in West Wales.

I sampled some very good beer, but I think it might be a long wait for the next TGV Duplex set to arrive at the station.......

The sadly closed Roggiet/Roggiett Hotel, a couple of hundred yards from Severn Tunnel Junction station. It is spelt "Rogiet" by Ordnance Survey.

The sign is a bit faded, but showing I believe a Gooch broad gauge GWR loco. There was a large marshalling yard here until the 1960s.

Not a pub, but the statue of a locomotive on the corner of the Freshfield industrial estate, outside the bingo hall, is shocking. Here’s a pic from street view of it

Here is a screenshot from Street View of the abomination of a locomotive on the sign for The Station, Filey. Not especially handy for the station either...

As this screenshot from Google Street View shows, The Railway Arms in the Hampshire market town of Alton has a three dimensional Southern green steam locomotive coming out a fake tunnel on the front. No idea if it’s a good or bad representation though, as standard gauge steam isn’t my specialist subject!

Looks a bit like a Caledonian Railway tank engine to my untrained eye.

No....it's more like a London & South Western Railway class M7 0-4-4 tank loco, which would be entirely appropriate for the area until the 'Thumper' diesel-electric units took over the Alton-Winchester-Southampton Terminus services in 1957-58.

I bow to your greater knowledge :)
Looking into it Dugald Drummond was CME at both the CR and LSWR hence my initial guess.
