Wemyss Bay and gourock stations say it's free to park for rail users or £ 3 a day.

How do you prove you are rail travelling?
What if you arrive and there no ticket office open, too early to get a ticket. Off on holiday to Scotland so planning my options

I doubt they can. Instead they work on the assumption the user is a decent person and wont lie or extract the urine
