I have been invited to a assessment/interview for a SWR Railway Operator position. I have completed all the commercial guard assessments and am currently on the waiting list should a CG position come up locally.
However this Railway Operator position is available now and would be a foot in the door.
As best I can tell this role is basically a station/platform assistant.
Does anyone know more about this position and the job spec? Also does anyone know what the assessment for this role would consist of? It's only a morning so not as long as the guard assessments but is it pen and paper stuff or role play as that's something I'm really not keen on.
