Railway Herald Revamp

The new Railway Herald website has been launched, and there's a number of good new features available, including the ability to upload unlimited photographs! And, during the next couple of weeks, a photo gallery website builder will also be introduced.

Must admit the thing that interests me more is the new e-magazine, "Railway Herald Worldwide, the first issue of which is published on Jan 29th.

Which bit interests you?... the fact it covers outside the UK but done to the same format as Railway Herald or the fact its appearing at all?

I like the site redesign, however I'm not sure I like clicking on buttons to download the magazine. You can't stick a button link into a download manager.

I'm interested in the overseas coverage - quite enjoyed the RH Worldwide supplement that appeared a few months back. Somehow I find Today's Railways Europe, which is the only other magazine to cover Europe in detail, to be a bit dull. Plus the American coverage interests me.

My understanding there are 4 ways to get Railway Herald Now:-

1/ Don't create an account , don't have an email sent to you and just go to http://railwayherald.co.uk and download either the high or low res copy

2/ Email the editor@railwayherald.co.uk and ask to be added to the mailing list and provide an email address, or ask the ED to send an email when its released for you to download off the site.

3/ Create an account on the website and with that email address 'do it yourself' to subscribe to any of the publications , or the email to say its released, in any combination.

4/Click on the link in the email when its released, so you don't need to visit the site at all- or get it straight to your inbox , every time its published.

Railway Herald 118 had an advert for RH Worldwide saying there are articles on the USA in winter, The Australian XPT , Freight over Kicking Horse Pass in the Rockies, news and events acoss Europe. Its published every month and should be more in depth than 'Herald'.. Not bad for a 'freebee'.
