Co-Co bogies and suspension systems were the same.
I read that the people building a new 10000 bought a class 77 for those bits
Yes that is what I was looking for. I'm not sure they were exactly the same but I believe the design for the electric were based on the diesel.

Thank you. Probably not exactly the same, as you say, but close enough for the Ivatt folks to use to build their replica 10000.

What was the first BR AL series AC locomotive to be withdrawn from service?
