That's the one! The film was shot on the Oregon, Pacific and Eastern Railroad - a grand name for a 16 mile branch into the mountains from Cottage Grove, Oregon.

It's interesting (and possibly relevant) that the Lorane Valley Lumber Company's branch out of Cottage Grove used wood burning steam locomotives until it closed in 1951.

I'll accept three of those. You may have read the question before I edited it to say "leaving those lines with no services of that TOC", which is the case of Avanti at Shrewsbury, SWR at Bristol Temple Meads, and Northern at Barton-on-Humber.

Correct.

A (possibly non-exhaustive) list could also have included LNER to Sunderland; GWR to Brighton; Heathrow Connect as an operator which has disappeared completely; EMR to Leeds and Scarborough; and Thameslink to Littlehampton. More debatably, ScotRail's and Northern's through Newcastle – Dumfries – Glasgow services have ended (but I think switched TOCs at Carlisle), and the only Eurostar services to Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Marseille are ex-Thalys ones.

OBSERVATIONS.
I would disagree about Thameslink to Littlehampton as Thameslink and Southern are part of the same TOC .
The Glasgow-Newcastle via Kilmarnock service was as mentioned a ScotRail/Northern (and it predecessors) joint operation using ScotRail units and Northern train crews between Carlisle and Newcastle.
One Eurostar route completely withdrawn was the St. Pancras-Marne La Vallee (Disneyland Paris) service.
The East Croydon-Watford Junction service is all that remains of the Brighton-Rugby service introduced by Connex who originally wanted to operate through to Birmingham.
Prior to EMR taking over the Cleethorpes-Barton on Humber service it was operated by TPE train crews on hire to Northern who did not have a depot in the area.
