No bodyside windows, had louvres instead
That's probably close enough.

One of the windows in the centre of the A side was indeed replaced with louvres, but it also had a small circular rooftop grille over the silicon rectifier cooling unit, and prominent shutters on the roof at the No2 end (without pan) for cooling the rheostatic braking system. It had 3 big shutters on the A side and 2 on the B side, which were the most noticeable difference......as the window grille was only on one side.

Over to you to modify our next question!

I am wondering if there should be a new rule for this quiz, which is that if nobody comes up with a response to a question for a week, the originator must set a new one or "open floor" is automatically declared.

I’m absolutely definitely certain with gold plated fully Ronsealed accuracy that it was that one and not any of the 300+ ones not mentioned yet…

This was a humorous reference to @Cowley 's profession....of which, if you haven't met him, you may not be aware. ;)

Good grief, I never realised that he worked in the government’s press department.

(This spurred me to find out how to do emojis on my iPad and I think it worked, although whether the one I have used is appropriate, I know not.)

(Well, no, it didn’t as the smiling emoji I added at the end of my sentence has gone AWOL. Just use your imagination.)
