Apologies for the delay.

A number of stations often had suffixes to their main name.

Please provide the main name for the following : -

For Shevington
For Newburgh
For Conisboro and Mexboro
For Gedling and Colwick

Carlton & Netherfield for Gedling and Colwick

(My friend always used to add the suffix Parkway as well !)
That's correct.
The station went from Carlton and Netherfield for Gedling and Colwick to Carlton and Netherfield to Carlton so there never was a Carlton for Netherfield.

So @D1537 and @SuspectUsual got one point, and I'll judge @D6130 to have 1 1/2 points and @martinsh to have 1/2 point so to @D6130 to name the next question please.
Thanks. Next up an easy question about a station which I passed through yesterday afternoon:

Which major station in Belgium was designed by the late Catalan architect Salvador Calatrava?

Thank you.
In terms of passenger numbers which is the busiest national rail station which doesn't have a daily train service to or from London?
For the sake of clarity this does not include stations within London.
