I know Urie’s son was also on the railway and had charge of the Isle of Wight in early Southern days, so perhaps his son (through a daughter?) also went on the railway. I always like the story that when Macleod took over from Urie, they did the handover on Ryde Pier while the ferry that Macleod came over on was unloading and loading, and Urie departed on it.

Urie is correct.
The grandfather was Robert Wallace Urie.
His grandson is also Robert ("Bob") Wallace Urie who is a former managing director of Regional Railways North East.

Your turn to manage the next question.
