Is that the line where a bridge collapsed?
Yes....three arches of the Noce viaduct near Niscemi collapsed due to inferior-quality cement - no doubt manufactured and supplied by our friends in Cosa Nostra. The line - and the viaduct - had only opened in 1975. Most of the rest of the viaduct was subsequently demolished and is now being rebuilt in a piecemeal fashion using the original abutments and long concrete-encased girders.

Your turn to find a horse's head in your bed (but hopefully not! )
