When it first opened City Thameslink station was named St. Pauls Thameslink but the name was very quickly changed. Why?
Partially correct but there was a specific reason.To avoid confusion with St. Pauls (Central line), with which it shares no in-station connection?
Not so - nearby EastcoteOnly use of North, or any point of compass, on the Underground as part of a word, rather than on its own?
