Yes but unlike 6220 which reverted to its previous identity 6100 retained that identity on its return to the UK. It is also interesting to note that all four locomotives are still with us.

That's right - and the programme seems to demonstrate that others are capable of making cockups just as big as ours! Lengthy trials with lots of software problems and now introduction into service delayed indefinitely because of FRA objections to the use of European crashworthiness standards, I as far as I can gather.

That was the name of the signalbox. IIRC, the station was just 'Staddlethorpe'. I passed through it a coouple of times on a Yorkshire Ranger in the Summer of 1975. I'll give you it though, as you have the correct spelling.
