I know nothing about football, but I can think of several GWR CME names, so I'll start with Churchward.

The G J Churchward Memorial Ground, opened in 1984 (surprisingly recent, I thought?) is the home of Stoke Gabriel FC.
Churchward was born in Stoke Gabriel in 1857 and died in Swindon in 1933 after being hit by a locomotive.

Crikey.... I only started with Churchward because I had just been reading about the row caused by the NRM this month giving away a locomotive he designed!

A railtour was planned in the late 1980s or early 1990s ( but cancelled because the only dates suitable to one operator did not suit the other ) which involved the use of the Nord Pas de Calais train ferry.
Which rolling stock was it intended to send down to Paris Gare du Nord and back on this tour?

One of these locos has another livery distinction for its class, which one and what was it?
Not 50035 although it was one of the earliest NSE repaints.

Well, I found a nice picture of 50023 at Waterloo on launch day, so that should be one.

Yes DerekC. Those were the two (although 50017 was also painted in original NSE that week) and that's good enough to win it.
Would you like to take a guess at 50023s minor claim to paint wibble fame while you're on a roll?

Well it was that 50023 was also the first of the class to wear large logo livery.

Black Harry was the name given locally to the disused tunnel on the closed line between Clifton Junction and Patricroft, although I think officially it was known as Clifton Hall Tunnel. If memory serves me correctly, it was actually one of the ventilation shafts that collapsed into the sealed up tunnel rather than a collapse of the tunnel itself, but unfortunately it struck without warning and took with it at least one house that had been built on the ground above the shaft, killing the unfortunate residents.

Spot on. In fact the tunnel was still nominally open to traffic (although closed a couple of weeks before when brickwork was spotted falling from the tunnel arch). "Black Harry" was originally the nickname of the ganger who led the building of the tunnel in the 1840s . When the construction shafts were sealed he bodged the job, leaving the temporary support timbers in place holding the shaft brickwork up. More than 100 years later they collapsed, bringing down the tunnel arch below.

Could you add the locations to the last the last three, and I'm guessing that Mon is Monmouthshire and so what is normally known now as Newport (South Wales)?
