Ok no one has got it- its Intercambiador terminus on the Santa Cruz de Tenerife metro/tram. It's a cracking system, frequent & even runs all night every 30 mins on Friday/Sat nights, very cheap, clean & safe with ticket checks on every service I used. It has some very steep sections up to Trinidad terminus in La Laguna & some tunnel sections. Has totally transformed the 'twin cities'. Open floor.

Q1 is all correct; Q2 is not.

I should have said that the answer to Q2 is an area of a city, not an area on it's own (if you see what I mean).

They had a class of engine that was known as Jubillees, but no, they didn't rename any engines.

I'm not aware that they did. They may have, but I was looking for something locomotive related.

They did paint some of their 2-2-2-2 locomotives: Greater Britain and its sister Queen Empress were painted scarlet and cream. For unknown reasons, they didn't repaint a third locomotive for the full red, white and blue.

Blind googling is frowned upon somewhat, but that's only because everyone running straight to a search engine limits the fun. On occasions when i think "oh, I've read about that!" I'll unashamedly reach for my bookshelf to refresh my memory. I've sometimes double-checked a hazy memory online before posting too.
While special liveries was the answer I had in mind, I'd be interested to know what answer you found. (By PM or reply in this thread.)
They made equipment for the Post Office railway, anything to do with that?
